  The National teaching Council   - NTC has started issuing license numbers to teachers on District basis via SMS.  Every teacher is entreated to verify info and update records.  There is this new feature Proof of Rank *Payslip or promotion letter* can be used to proof your rank.  Log in to your portal and update records now!!!. Lets remind those who have not registered to do so. NTC TEACHER PORTAL GHANA REGISTRATION  currently, there is no deadline for this registration However, all teachers are advised to register NB: Any stage that you reach during the registration, you can save and continue the registration on any other day/ time The information already provided would not be lost tpg.ntc.gov.gh/account/register Thank you

Ghana Teacher awards comes off next month, this award is to recognize teachers who made outstanding contributions in their various fields. The main organizers of the award scheme is National Teaching Council in collaboration with Ghana Education Service, under the theme: Teacher Leadership in Developing Crisis Education Responses. Categories to be awarded include: The Best Pre-School Teacher The Best Primary School Teacher The Best Junior High School Teacher The Best Senior High School Teacher The Best Non-Teaching Staff The Best Special School HIV/AIDS Most Alert School Guest of Honor: His excellence Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo-Prez of Republic of Ghana.  The Awards to be won by the Top Three Finalists of Ghana Teacher Prize 2020 on 5th October 2020 at the University of Cape Coast, UCC.  We will be updating you on it.   Teacher unions in negotiations with GES through the Ministry of education have come into agreement that an amount of ₵1,200 is to be paid to teachers and ₵600 to non-teaching staff as part of their professional development training. The Minister of Education Dr. Mattew Opoku Premeph has made this new development known to Parliament in his recent meeting with the house.  Teachers are to expect this said amount to hit their account soon.
