Appointment of Vice-Chancellor Council appointed Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong, currently the Provost of the College of Health and Allied Sciences as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast for an initial 4-year term of office with effect from 1st August, 2020. Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong will take over from the incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, whose term of office ends on 31st July, 2020. 2. PRESS RELEASE The National Teaching Council (NTC) wishes to bring to the notice of all candidates who registered for the March 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) which was postponed due to the covid-19 restriction that their examination will be written on Saturday 20th June, 2020. All candidates should note that: • all the three papers shall be written on the same day • some centres chosen by candidates during registration have been changed • details of the centres shall be sent to candidates via sms.
